Quantum Tutoring was founded by Sancho Torr, a South African Biochemistry graduate with a strong passion for Mathematics and Science — and a belief that good teaching can change the way students see themselves.
What started as a small side hustle tutoring university students and learners from his former high school quickly grew. Word spread, results followed, and soon Sancho was tutoring relatives and students abroad, including in the UK. That’s when the vision became clear: this was bigger than one person.
Our Founder
Sancho has always been known for his strong analytical thinking and ability to explain complex ideas simply. With a solid background in Maths and Science, he helped students move from confusion to confidence — often in high-pressure situations like exams and last-minute test preparation.
While Sancho is now focused on building Quantum Tutoring as an international tutoring agency, he still enjoys teaching and remains involved in the academic side of the business. His goal is to grow a trusted team of tutors who share the same values: clarity, patience, and real results.
